The Course: A Unique and Accessible Opportunity
The Working Group on Psychobiology, Neurosciences and Behavior, in partnership with international and national universities, started the course on August 7, but there are still chances to try to enroll.
The classes are broadcast at 6 PM, directly on the YouTube channel, and provide a comprehensive overview of cognitive neuroscience, covering theoretical aspects to practical discussions.
According to updated information, 16 videos are already available recorded with content presented by some of the leading specialists in Brazil and around the world.
According to USP, the course is structured into ten modules, covering a wide range of topics that connect neuroscience to psychobiology and behavior.
Who Are the Experts Behind the Course?
The course is led by a heavyweight team, composed of researchers from USP and other important universities.
Among the specialists who have already taught classes are Sérgio Sheiji Fukusima from the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto (FFCLRP); Marcelo Fernandes da Costa from the Institute of Psychology (IP); and Priscila Medeiros de Freitas from the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto (FMRP).
In addition to these names, the course features the participation of various other national and international professionals, making the content even richer and more diverse.
As highlighted by the organizers, the aim is to promote the strengthening of the areas of psychobiology and neuroscience through accessible and high-quality education.
Content Divided into Modules and International Speakers
The course is organized into ten modules, which facilitates content absorption and allows students to progress according to their availability.
The topics range from introductions to neuroscience to advanced discussions on cognition and human behavior.
According to the organizers, the presence of international researchers brings a global perspective to the course, broadening the frontiers of knowledge and providing a unique experience for participants.
The course, which is already being recognized as one of the most innovative initiatives at USP this year, aims to reach students and professionals interested in expanding their horizons in the field of neuroscience.
A Collaborative Initiative with Great Impact
This course is not just a series of classes; it is part of a larger effort. The Working Group on Psychobiology, Neurosciences and Behavior, which organizes the event, has been in existence since 2002 and works on various fronts to promote the advancement of these areas in Brazil.
According to the institution, the initiative aims not only to educate but also to build a solid network of professionals and researchers committed to the development of these disciplines in the country.
In addition to the classes, the group organizes symposiums and round tables, providing additional opportunities for students to engage and share experiences.
This collaborative environment enriches learning and fosters the development of new ideas and research.
