At the heart of the new Boreal is the 1.3 TCe turbo flex engine, already known to Brazilians, but now optimized to provide more versatility. With a power output of 163 hp when fueled with ethanol and 156 hp with gasoline, the SUV delivers torque between 27.5 kgfm and 25.5 kgfm, depending on the fuel. The transmission will be a dual-clutch (DCT) automated system, similar to that used in the Renault Kardian.
And the innovations don’t stop there: Renault has already confirmed the development of a mild hybrid version, expected to debut between 2026 and 2027 — a direct response to the growing demand for energy efficiency and emission reduction.

Visually, the Boreal adopts lines inspired by the Dacia Bigster, with an emphasis on the chunky wheels and flush door handles at the rear. The unibody structure enhances the stability and durability of the model, essential characteristics for the Brazilian consumer.
In terms of safety, the model stands out by incorporating the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) package, which is superior to that of the Kardian. Confirmed features include: autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control (ACC), and blind spot detection. These features reinforce Renault’s commitment to safety and place the Boreal on the same technological level as its direct rivals.

Tá bom, só esqueceram de falar, que estão usando o câmbio automatizado com dupla embreagem, ou seja, você compra um carro automático mas não leva. Tinha tudo pra ser um concorrente direto, se contarem a verdade sobre o câmbio, acho pouco provável
Não vai vender nada. Com esse preço de R$180.000 tem veículos elétricos com custo/benefício bem melhores.
