Registrations Open for Over 20,000 Slots in 45 Free Technical Courses in Bahia. Interested Individuals Have Until July 14 to Register.
Registrations opened on July 4 for over 20,000 slots in free high school-level technical courses in Salvador and more than 97 cities in Bahia; the complete list of cities can be checked through the Education Portal, which will be provided below. The courses will be held in State Centers and Territorial Centers for Professional Education, as well as shared units.
In total, there are 45 courses such as Administration, Occupational Safety, Logistics, Environment, Agroecology, Agriculture, Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics, Clinical Analysis, Construction, Electrotechnics, Information Technology, Accounting, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Culinary Arts, Food, Bakery, Human Resources, Construction, Civil Engineering Drawing, Computer Networks, Secretarial, Conservation and Restoration, Visual Arts, Musical Instruments, Music Documentation, and Conducting, among others.

Requirements
Any individuals who have completed high school and its modalities at public schools or as full scholarship students at other institutions until the 2018 school year can register. This means that even those who completed high school at public schools 5, 10 years ago, or more, and want to return to the classroom to take the high school technical course can apply.
Of the total offered, 12,510 slots are for courses in the Subsequent Articulation format after High School. In this case, candidates must access the Education Portal to register for the electronic draw, with results expected to be announced on July 16. Those selected must go to the school units to which they registered to complete their enrollment between July 18 and 19.
The other 7,720 slots are for courses in the PROEJA Medium articulation format, aimed at youths over 18 years old who have completed elementary school. For this group, enrollment is done directly at the offering Professional Education school units between July 18 and 19. At the time of enrollment, the student must present documents such as the original school transcript, originals and copies of the identity card or civil registration certificate, the CPF, and proof of residence. In both cases, classes will start on July 29.
Enrollment
Registrations must be completed by July 14, through the Education Portal. Upon accessing the registration page, candidates must click on “New Registration” and create a new password. During registration, they must provide their CPF number, choose the desired course, select the school unit where they wish to study, and indicate their preferred shift.
