[supsystic-social-sharing id=’1′]Last Thursday (9th), over a thousand people were at Porto do Açu seeking job placements in the market due to news of possible hiring, but then the worst happened. It was all just a rumor, even though the Click Petróleo e Gás page had warned people not to go there and had publicized that they should not go to the location.
According to those who were there looking for a position, they received messages that the company Andrade Gutierrez was about to start the construction of the Thermoelectric Plant at Porto do Açu and it was hiring professionals to be hired immediately, and the one responsible for collecting resumes was Sintramon (the union also responsible for the works at Comperj in Itaboraí).
After a large-scale gathering of workers on the Sanjoanense beach, Prumo ended up releasing a statement informing that the job openings for this project were false and asked everyone to register on the company’s job channel on the VAGAS website.
