The Ministry of Education is offering 125 free online courses (Distance Learning) with certificates in various fields through the AVAMEC platform – MEC’s Virtual Learning Environment. The opportunities are available throughout Brazil, there is no selection process and no limit on spots. According to MEC, there are already more than 1 million registered users taking the free online courses (Distance Learning). All courses offer certification upon completion, making it an excellent way to generate complementary hours for college. After being approved, the student can issue the certificate online.

With the Coronavirus pandemic in Brazil, distance learning methodology becomes the only safe way to continue studying, while also providing flexibility regarding daily study time.
