O the Ministry of Education (MEC): is offering an unmissable opportunity with online distance learning courses, which guarantee a certificate and do not require a selection process. According to the MEC, Registration is open for various courses aimed at students and professionals interested in improving their knowledge in these areas.

Courses cover a variety of topics. In “Tourist Agency and Hospitality”, students will have access to content on tourism, hospitality, events and leisure. The course, which is basic and taught in Portuguese, is scheduled for completion by January 31, 2025, with a workload of 20 hours.

Another course offered is “Travel and Tourism Agencies”, which addresses the origin, operations and market in Brazil, as well as technologies for agencies and future perspectives. This course also has a workload of 20 hours and must be completed by January 31, 2025.

For those working in food and beverage services, the “Food and Drinks in Hospitality” course is an excellent option. It deals with topics such as restaurants and services, menu planning and pantry facilities, as well as bar service in the tourist context.

Event-Focused Courses

For those interested in financial management, the “Financial Management for Events” course covers event budgeting, cost management, budgeting and cash flow, as well as profit, mark-up and business plan. Available in two classes, one ending on July 31, 2024 and the other on January 31, 2025, each lasting 30 hours, the course is aimed at professionals and students in the management field.

Finally, the “Hotel Management” course addresses administration in accommodation and hotel services. With two classes, one concluding on July 31, 2024 and the other on January 31, 2025, lasting 20 hours, The course is aimed at students and those interested in the area.
