It’s worth noting that 60% of the fee is allocated to the city where production occurred. This discovery will further boost employment and income in the region.”
About Atlantic Nickel Mining Company:
Atlantic Nickel has been engaged in exploration, mining, processing, and commercialization of nickel concentrate since 2009. The produced sulfide nickel, after undergoing a refining process, is the main component in manufacturing batteries that equip the growing market of electric vehicles.
The operations of Santa Rita Mine are concentrated in the municipality of Itagibá, Bahia, northeast of Brazil, about 370 kilometers from the capital Salvador (BA). The location is also strategic as it is only 140 kilometers from the Port of Ilhéus, a city in southern Bahia, well positioned from an export perspective for the ore.
