According to the company, investments in natural gas pipelines are one of the most important steps, after all, it is a cost-effective way to transport a larger volume.

“With the creation of the 27km of pipelines that will be capable of connecting the state of MT, our natural gas can be transported freely like electricity or even water. The logic behind the pipelines is precisely the flexibility of this business model. There will be 27 kilometers of pipelines constructed, based on the project that is already in bidding this month,” stated the state company’s president, Rafael Reis.

Advantages For The Brazilian Company And For Other Companies That Acquire The Gas

During the interview, the company’s CEO Rafael Reis was asked about what the advantages of the investments in pipelines would be for MT Gás as well as for other companies that may be interested in acquiring natural gas through the pipelines.

Rafael responded directly, saying: “Our company has been in the market for over 15 years and we already have over 1,200 meters of gas pipeline, natural gas that comes from Bolivia directly to our city gate. One of the main advantages of this business model is undoubtedly the pricing factor of natural gas and finally the ease for both sides.” Rafael concluded.
