Requirements to Participate in the Free Course
To enroll in the free electrician course, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Have completed high school;
Be at least 18 years old at the time of registration;
Hold a valid National Driver’s License (CNH) in categories B, C, or D.
Selection Process for the Electrician Course
The selection process will consist of eight elimination and classification stages, ensuring that selected candidates have the appropriate profile for training. The stages include:
1- Online registration;
2- Online tests in Portuguese and mathematics;
3- Group stage;
4- Psychological evaluation;
5- Practical test in-person in Valença;
6- Technical interview in-person in Valença;
7- Occupational health evaluation in Valença;
8- Enrollment at the Electrician School.
Details of the Electrician School
The electrician course offered by Neoenergia Coelba will have a total workload of 540 hours, with theoretical classes held from Monday to Friday, from 6 PM to 10 PM. Occasionally, classes may occur on Saturdays.
Classes will be taught in a hybrid format, with online theory and in-person practices at units to be informed later.
To participate in remote classes, students will need:
Internet access;
A computer or device with a camera and microphone.
Certification and Opportunities from the Free Course
At the end of the course, participants who achieve an average of 7.0 or higher and a minimum attendance of 75% will receive a certificate of completion.
For modules related to regulatory standards (NRs), attendance must be 100%.
Graduates will have the possibility to enter Neoenergia Coelba or seek opportunities in the electrical sector, expanding their chances of entry into the job market.

How to Enroll in the Free Course?
Registrations are free and must be made exclusively online until March 7, 2025, or until the limit of 300 registrations in Valença is reached.
For candidates residing in Morro de São Paulo, Presidente Tancredo Neves, Apaurema, Boipeba, Camumu, Ituberá, and Gandu, registrations will remain open until March 14, 2025.
