Based on the Fiat Titano, the New Ram 1200 Surprises with Luxurious Interior and Mercedes-Style Dashboard, Produced in Argentina with Exclusive Design and Cutting-Edge Technology That Positions It as a Heavyweight Rival Among Premium Mid-Sized Pickups in Brazil.
Ram is ready to expand its pickup line in Brazil with an unprecedented model that combines luxury, robustness, and technology inspired by major brands in the premium sector.
The new Ram 1200, derived from the Fiat Titano and assembled at the Córdoba plant in Argentina, will be Stellantis’ next bet to attract an audience seeking sophistication in utility vehicles.
The arrival in the Brazilian market is expected to occur between late 2025 and early 2026, according to insider information and specialized portals.

The new model will position itself as an intermediate pickup, offering options above the Fiat Titano but below the Ram Rampage and the Ram 1500, uniting the best of both worlds: the refinement of luxury cars and the versatility of a utility vehicle.
The Ram 1200 is already sold in Latin American countries and Mexico based on the same project as the Titano.
However, the version intended for the Brazilian public promises a superior finish, exclusive design, and updated technologies, raising the standard for the category.

A Pickup That Is Born Global, but with Latin American DNA
During the ceremony that celebrated the start of production of the Fiat Titano in Argentina, Stellantis announced that the Córdoba unit will be a true production center for pickups for South America.
The factory will be responsible for assembling different models, such as the Peugeot Landtrek, the Fiat Titano, and the Ram 1200 — all based on the platform of the Chinese pickup Changan K70.
The project is global, but with strong adaptation to the demands of the local market.
The Titano, for example, was created based on the Landtrek, which in turn derives from the Chinese Changan.
The Ram 1200 takes advantage of this same structure but will receive a distinctive touch from the American brand in design, equipment, and mechanical assembly.

Visual with Its Own Identity and More Sophistication
According to the specialized portal Autos Segredos, the new Argentine Ram 1200 will feature at least two versions: the entry-level Big Horn and the top-of-the-line Laramie.
The first will maintain the look already seen in the Mexican model, while the second will bring significant aesthetic changes, especially in the front end.
Among the visual highlights of the Laramie version are new headlights with LED signature, redesigned bumper, exclusive front grille, and wider fenders, as well as newly designed wheels.
These changes aim to give the vehicle its own identity within the Ram lineup, distancing it from the more generic look of the Titano.
Interior Inspired by Premium Models and Plenty of Embedded Technology
One of the major differentiators of the new Ram 1200 will be its interior, which will offer a more refined finish than that found in its cousins Peugeot Landtrek and Fiat Titano.
According to Autos Segredos, the cabin will be inspired by the Chinese Changan Hunter pickup, which offers a more luxurious cabin with rubberized materials, visible stitching, and refined details.
Another highlight will be the horizontal digital dashboard, similar to those of Mercedes-Benz models, which unites the instrument cluster with the multimedia center in a unique, modern, and elegant frame.
The center console will also receive special attention, featuring electronic parking brake, button gear selector, and wireless phone charger.
The seats of the Ram 1200 will be exclusive, offering greater ergonomics and a premium look, with the possibility of electric adjustments and ventilation.
These elements reinforce the pickup’s proposal as a product aimed at those seeking sophistication without giving up robustness and versatility.
Reliable Engine Suitable for Any Terrain
The Ram 1200 will use the 2.2 Multijet turbo diesel engine, the same one that powers the Fiat Titano.
This is a well-known engine in Stellantis’ portfolio, present in models such as Fiat Toro, Ram Rampage, and Jeep Commander, delivering 200 hp of power and 450 Nm of torque.
The transmission will be 4×4 with a selector for 4×2 and 4×4 low modes, providing excellent performance on rough terrain or off-road use.
The gearbox will be an eight-speed automatic, ensuring smooth shifts and good response both on highways and in urban areas.
This configuration ensures a balance between performance, fuel economy, and load capacity, essential for the target audience of the new Ram 1200: demanding consumers who need a reliable vehicle for daily use, travel, or heavy-duty work.

Tough Competition in the Mid-Sized Segment
With the arrival of the Ram 1200, the Brazilian mid-sized pickup market promises to become even more competitive.
The model will face heavyweight rivals such as Toyota Hilux, Chevrolet S10, Ford Ranger, Nissan Frontier, and the Fiat Titano itself.
However, Ram may have the advantage by offering a more complete equipment package, striking visual appeal, and a proposal more focused on comfort, without compromising the load capacity and durability that the segment demands.
Additionally, the use of the Ram brand — globally recognized for its large and luxurious pickups — can attract consumers seeking status but unwilling to invest in the more expensive versions of the lineup, such as the 1500 or the more equipped Rampage.
Stellantis Strategy Aims for Leadership in the Sector
With the Córdoba factory consolidating itself as a production hub for pickups, Stellantis reinforces its strategy to dominate the South American market in this segment.
The company already has a strong presence with the Strada, an absolute leader among compact pickups, and with the Toro, which continues to sell well even with the arrival of new competitors.
The Ram 1200 arrives as a crucial piece to cover an intermediate space, offering a more refined and technological product than the Titano but with superior cost-benefit compared to the Rampage.

A New Level of Sophistication for Mid-Sized Pickups
By combining modern design, refined interior, cutting-edge technology package, and reliable mechanics, the new Ram 1200 promises to redefine the concept of mid-sized pickup in Brazil.
Its launch marks not only the expansion of Ram’s portfolio but also a direct response to consumer demand for utility vehicles with more comfort and connectivity.
Although prices have not been officially disclosed, it is expected that the new pickup will be positioned in an intermediate range between the Fiat Titano and the Ram Rampage, with versions that may exceed R$ 250,000, depending on the equipment.
