Since the beginning of the works, Alabarce has been generating jobs in São Paulo. When the new unit is operational, Ronaldo believes that there will be over a thousand indirect job opportunities. For those who will work directly in the store, hiring should start in November. Still in the second half of October, negotiations should begin for the selection of the stores that will operate in the 18 spaces of the market boulevard.
Job Generation and Attraction for New Investments
Ronaldo Alabarce, one of the partners of the group, says: “For the retailers, it is very advantageous to be in this space because rents are cheaper than in a street commercial point, we don’t charge an administration fee, we have security, they are well-installed buildings, and there is already a reference point, which is Alabarce itself. This flow of people passing by the store daily gives peace of mind to those who are going to invest,” considers the partner.
Investments have also come from the city hall of the municipality in the state of São Paulo. The Alabarce group is now part of the Mogiano Program for Attracting Investments and Generating Jobs (PROMAE). With this, the unit will be exempt from paying the Urban Property and Territorial Tax (IPTU) for at least ten years.

The construction deadline is approximately two years. Dexco estimates the generation of 350 direct jobs in the region and plans to deliver the first line of products produced on-site by 2023.
