The Federal Institute of Southeast Minas Gerais (IF Sudeste MG) announced the selection process for the first semester of 2025, offering spots in free technical courses. The Notice No. 24/2024 includes different modalities, including concurrent technical courses, subsequent courses, and the PROEJA modality, distributed among the campuses of Barbacena, Bom Sucesso, Juiz de Fora, Rio Pomba, Santos Dumont, São João del Rei, and Ubá. This is an opportunity for professional training for those looking to enter the job market with solid technical education.

The free courses offered primarily aim to prepare students for the job market, with options that include both in-person and distance education modalities. Selection Process and Spot Reservations

The selection process will be conducted by lottery, scheduled to take place on January 16, 2025. Additionally, IF Sudeste MG reserves spots for affirmative actions, according to Law 12,711, offering opportunities for students from public schools, people with disabilities, quilombolas, and candidates who self-declare as black, indigenous, or mixed-race. Candidates will need to select the competition category that best fits their socio-economic profile at the time of application.

Requirements for Enrollment in Technical Courses

To apply, the candidate must have completed high school or be in their second or third year, depending on the chosen course. Additionally, it is necessary to present documents such as ID, CPF, and proof of education. For courses in the EAD modality, candidates must have access to the internet and a device that allows them to follow the online classes.
