This week was marked by the inauguration ceremony of Raul Jungmann as president of Ibram and, with that, new perspectives for the future of the sector in Brazil. The executive used his inauguration moment to defend his main ideal during his presidency of the organization, sustainability in mining. Thus, he stated that his management will be marked by incentives for ESG practices within mineral production in Brazil, and Ibram will do what is necessary to invest in this initiative.
Additionally, amid the moment of instability in agribusiness in Northern Brazil, Jungmann also emphasized his repudiation of legal mining and stated that he will work to combat illegalities within this sector.
