New Volkswagen Virtus 2024 Exclusive Hits The Market Priced At R$ 150 Thousand And Promises To Leave Competitors Behind. The New Car From Volkswagen Also Delivers Great Fuel Economy And High Performance.
The recent facelift transformed the Volkswagen Virtus 2024, giving it a new identity. The new Volkswagen car now significantly distinguishes itself from the Polo, which underwent simplification, becoming more similar to the Nivus in both technology and design. As a result, there was also a reorganization in the versions offered: the former top-of-the-line sporty GTS was replaced by the unprecedented Exclusive version, marking a new phase for the Volkswagen sedan.
New Car From Volkswagen Delivers 150 Horsepower
The new Volkswagen Virtus 2024 Exclusive, despite being a compact sedan, comes with a bold price tag of R$ 150 thousand, making it more expensive than medium sedans like the Corolla GLI and the Nissan Sentra Advance.
As with the old GTS version, the Virtus Exclusive is the only one in the lineup equipped with the 1.4 turbo engine producing 150 horsepower and 25.5 kgfm, plus a six-speed automatic transmission — a mechanical set shared with the T-Cross, Taos models and previously used in the Tiguan and Jetta. This configuration provides the sedan with sports performance superior to the other versions.

With a TSI engine of up to 150 hp, a 420-liter trunk, a 10.1-inch VW Play infotainment system, and almost 7,900 units sold in April 2026, Volkswagen’s SUV remains the segment leader, leaving Creta, Tracker, and Compass behind.

The next generation of the Toyota Corolla could become almost unrecognizable next to the current model, according to projections, the images show a tapered front end, LED bar headlights, recessed door handles, and a new rear end with two light strips.
In tests conducted with gasoline, the Virtus Exclusive accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.4 seconds, being 1.4 seconds faster than the Highline model, which has a 1.0 turbo engine with 128 horsepower. This allows the sedan to gain more agility and performance at high speeds, although it still exhibits some turbo delay, known as turbo lag.
The steering is sporty, direct, and well-balanced. Fuel consumption is also impressive, considering the car’s sporty profile: in tests, the Virtus Exclusive recorded averages of 11.7 km/l in the city and 16.5 km/l on the highway, figures close to the 12.5 km/l and 17.7 km/l achieved by the Highline version.
Interior Of The New Car From Volkswagen May Deter Customers?
The dashboard of the Volkswagen Virtus 2024 Exclusive, although black aiming for sobriety, ends up highlighting the simplicity of the finishing.
In the Highline version, a brown central strip is used in an attempt to hide this less attractive aspect. Most surfaces are made of hard plastics with a basic appearance, particularly in the lower components, such as the central air vents and the center console.
However, there are positive highlights such as the configurable 10.25-inch digital instrument panel and the 10.1-inch multimedia center compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wirelessly.
The VW Virtus Exclusive also stands out for its complete package of standard features, which includes keyless entry with push-button engine start, induction cell phone charger, six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, rearview camera, fatigue detector, adaptive cruise control, among other advanced features.

Design Of The New Car From Volkswagen Impresses
On the outside, the new Volkswagen Virtus 2024 bets on a more sophisticated design, without neglecting sportiness. The front features honeycomb-patterned grilles, shiny black appliqués, chrome accents, and full LED headlights.
At the back, the taillights display black masks and LED lighting, the chrome accents are repeated and there are black details on the model’s silver-colored version, such as on the Virtus and 250 TSI logos, as well as a small spoiler on the trunk lid.
From the side, besides the 18-inch wheels, which have a beautiful diamond-finished, there is an appliqué with the name Exclusive spanning the front doors and fenders.
The interior, in turn, may disappoint some buyers. The columns and ceiling give a sporty and sophisticated feel, as do the seats, upholstered in material that mimics leather, with crossed stitching and the name Exclusive printed.
