Autoimpact Establishes Itself as One of the National Leaders in Windshield Wiper Blades, with Solid Growth, Product Innovation, and Expansion Plans for New Sectors Such as Aviation.

In the world of automotive accessories, windshield wiper blades rarely take the spotlight — but they are essential for road safety, especially in rainy conditions. It was precisely by betting on this overlooked component that Autoimpact, founded in Palhoça (SC), built an impressive trajectory.

Today, the company ranks among the three largest suppliers in Brazil, behind only multinationals like Bosch and Trico, with revenue reaching R$ 35 million in 2024.

Accelerated Growth and Portfolio Diversification

Autoimpact gained notoriety in the market by investing in a broad portfolio, with over 150 models of windshield wiper blades, catering to everything from passenger cars to trucks, buses, tractors, harvesters, and other heavy vehicles.

This versatility allowed the company to grow even during challenging periods.

In 2023, the company recorded a significant revenue jump: from R$ 19 million in 2022 to R$ 24 million, securing a spot in the prestigious Exame Negócios em Expansão ranking.

By 2024, performance exceeded expectations, reinforcing Autoimpact’s positioning as a reference in the sector.

Innovation Beyond the Basics: From Rubber to Fit

Autoimpact’s strength lies in understanding that windshield wiper blades are not generic items.

“Our great differential was understanding that, although the wiper blade seemed like a simple product, it was essential for a wide variety of vehicles,” explains Leonardo Salomé, the company’s founder.

The brand stood out by anticipating automotive industry trends, developing hybrid models, flexible options, and customized fittings to meet automaker requirements.

It also invested in cutting-edge technologies, such as flexible silicone rubbers and Teflon-coated versions, which enhanced product durability and performance.

From Crisis to Reinvention: The Origin of Autoimpact

Leonardo Salomé’s journey in the automotive sector began with the importation of xenon headlights, a technology that was popular in Brazil between 2005 and 2007.

However, with the ban on the use of this type of lighting in passenger vehicles, the business faced difficulties and nearly closed its doors.

It was in this scenario that Autoimpact was born, with a strategic focus on a high-demand product with low diversity.

The beginning was solely focused on passenger cars, but soon the company realized the potential of serving even more underserved niches — such as agricultural machinery and heavy vehicles — thus expanding its market share.

Resilience Amid the Logistics Crisis

During the pandemic and the logistical bottlenecks of 2020, many competitors struggled to maintain stocks.

Autoimpact, however, managed to ensure the continuous supply of its wiper blades, which created a competitive advantage and substantial growth.

“We managed to grow even more when everything resumed, outperforming competitors who lacked product to offer,” recalls Salomé.

From Palhoça to the Aerospace Sector

With the ambition to be a complete brand in solutions for the automotive sector, Autoimpact is already aiming for new heights.

The company plans to enter the aviation segment, bringing its know-how in windshield wiper blades to aircraft.

“Every year, our goal is to continue growing consistently. We want to be the brand that offers a complete solution, serving everything from electric cars to the aerospace sector,” concludes the founder.
