The new industry will be installed in the northern region of the state and promises to create more than 1,500 direct jobs, boosting the market for heavy machinery and equipment and accelerating regional development.
After evaluating over 300 municipalities and 600 suppliers throughout Brazil, the company chose the northern region of Espírito Santo to establish its operation. According to the Secretary of Development of Linhares, Luiz Fernando Lorenzoni, the location is practically defined and, although the company’s name remains a secret, the project promises to impact the local economy and strengthen the Capixaba industry as a whole, according to the website tribunaonline.

Not to mention that investments in the food sector are also on the way, including a coffee factory and one for food, the latter with national capital. Aracruz: Fertilizer and Paper Industries Stand Out
While Linhares attracts big names, the neighboring city of Aracruz is also making strides. New investments are being directed there, such as the arrival of a fertilizer factory from Adufértil, with an investment of R$ 65 million, which will meet Suzano’s forestry demands throughout the country. The plant, expected to start operating in 2026, will play a crucial role in consolidating the fertilizer chain in the state.

Water Crisis? Solution May Be in Guarapari With Desalination
Another major project that is catching attention in Espírito Santo is the desalination plant for seawater, designed by the Spanish multinational GS Inima. With an investment exceeding R$ 1 billion, this will be Brazil’s largest desalination unit, located in Guarapari. The plant will have the capacity to treat over 1,200 liters per second and will be a milestone in combating the water crisis the state faces.
According to the Deputy Governor and Secretary of Development, Ricardo Ferraço, this technology is already widely used in countries like Chile, Spain, and Israel and provides a sustainable solution for water supply, ensuring water stability for regions such as Greater Vitória, Anchieta, and Aracruz. It is an ambitious project that will help the state tackle one of its current biggest challenges: access to drinking water.
