Registrations for IFRS Courses Are Open Until October 14, With Different Selection Methods, Such as Exams, ENEM Scores, or Drawings.

IF Rio Grande do Sul has an unmissable opportunity: there are 5,695 vacancies spread across 173 free courses. Registrations for the selection process are open until October 14, with options ranging from integrated high school to technical courses and undergraduate programs at 17 campuses across the state.

How Does the IFRS Selection Process Work?

If you are eyeing one of the free courses at IF, the first step is to register on the official website between September 26 and October 14. The good thing is that the selection method varies depending on the course you choose: it can be by exam, ENEM scores (from 2019 onwards), or even a lottery. The tip is to check carefully on the website what the criterion is for the course you want.

Also, it’s good to pay attention to the registration fee, which ranges from R$ 20 to R$ 80. But if you have a low income, you can request a waiver of this fee until September 25, also through the website.

The vacancies for the free IF courses are spread across 17 campuses in the state: Alvorada, Bento Gonçalves, Canoas, Caxias do Sul, Erechim, Farroupilha, Feliz, Ibirubá, Osório, Porto Alegre, Restinga (Porto Alegre), Rio Grande, Rolante, Sertão, Vacaria, Veranópolis, and Viamão.
