The Lula Field is about to reach 1 million barrels of oil produced per day, just missing the FPSO P-67 to be among the 3 largest producers on the planet
The largest oil producing field in Brazil is close to a big mark: Soon it will be producing 1 million barrels of oil per day, depending only on the successful allocation of FPSO P-67 for this mark to be reached. The field already has 8 FPSO's interconnected to 41 wells that last December produced around 900 bpd of quality surplus oil.
The challenges were and still are gigantic, but Brazil has great potential to return to being among the largest oil producers in the world.
