The Contract For This Work Will Be Signed On March 2 And Will Amount To 3 Billion Reais. The Porto Central Presidente Kennedy In ES Will Be One Of The Most Important In The Country

The Porto Central, in Presidente Kennedy, in the South of Espírito Santo has just received the confirmation that everyone was waiting for: The environmental license for the release of the works will be issued on March 2 and will be massively disseminated on social networks by government agencies and by the national press office. The current president, Michel Temer, issued an official statement after meeting with the governor of the state, Paulo Hartung, last Wednesday (21).

Today, Ibama will be finishing the evaluation of the site where the project will be installed. In November 2017, Temer signed the decree that was proclaimed as “public utility” due to the magnitude of the project and what it will mean for Brazil, as well as the Port of Açú, in the municipality of São João da Barra-RJ. Some companies are already being quoted for the removal of the vegetation where the construction will take place.

Companies and Contracts

A direct communication from the state government to the journalistic entities reports that the total cost of the work is budgeted at 3 billion reais and about 4,700 professionals for the works. The contracts will occur this year and the companies that will execute the works must enter the bidding phase, but after the signing of the environmental license this week, the competent entities say that this process will be quick.

The Porto Central is a multi-use port complex, under a condominium regime, with deepwater and world-class infrastructure, designed to serve industrial and service companies that support the oil industry. It will also be used for the operation of containers, bulk solids and liquids, general cargo, and vehicles. Remember that the hiring for the Port of Açú will happen this month, see in the article here how to apply. Source O Globo
