The Ocyan, a company providing services for the upstream offshore oil and gas industry in Brazil and abroad, has a new selection process for offshore vacancies open for candidates residing in Rio de Janeiro. In total, there are 140 opportunities for activities in the maintenance and offshore services sectors. Among the main open positions are scaffolders, conventional welders, welding inspectors, climbing welders, among others.
Requirements Set by Ocyan for Participation in Its Selection Process

Scaffolder
Complete high school is required, a minimum of two years of experience in the position, certified as Level 1 Welder by the ABRAMAN system, or three years of experience as a Helper in Boiler-making.

Climbing Welder N1
Complete high school is required, a minimum of two years of experience as a Welder, certified as Level 1 Welder by the ABRAMAN system, or three years of experience as a Helper in Boiler-making, and to have certificates in accordance with NBR 15454, among others.
LP/PM Welding Inspector Climbing N1
Complete high school is required and qualified by the National System for Qualification and Certification of Welding Personnel (FBTS). The inspector for this activity can be N1 and must have certificates in accordance with NBR 15475 for Rope Access – Qualification and Certification of People.
Planner/Planning Technician
Complete high school is required with experience in delineation or planning of industrial activities.
