Thus, the replicants P-66, P-67, P-68, P-69, and P-70 will receive support from the company in maintenance, assembly, and construction services. In this way, the Brazilian state-owned company aims to make fuel exploration even more efficient and safe during the next 4 years of the contract.
FPSO Platforms P-66, P-67, P-68, P-69, and P-70 from Petrobras Will Have Maintenance and Assembly Services from Ocyan for the Next 4 Years After Contract Closure
Ocyan is one of the Brazilian giants in the drilling and offshore production segment and offers a range of services to various companies. Now, the company has signed a contract with Petrobras to ensure support for the assembly, maintenance, and construction of FPSO platforms. More specifically, the replicants P-66, P-67, P-68, P-69, and P-70 will be the beneficiaries of the company’s services over the next years following the signing of the agreement between the companies.
The initial contract closed between Ocyan and Petrobras is set to conclude 4 years after the start of services. However, if the Brazilian state-owned company determines that the FPSO offshore platforms require further work from Ocyan, both companies may extend the partnership for an additional 2 years. This is a crucial contract for the segment, as it will contribute to double the offshore maintenance and services business of the company and re-establish its leadership position in Brazil.

Ocyan has been evolving, and the results are evident with the three contracts signed since the beginning of last year. Offshore Production Platforms of the Type FPSO from Petrobras Will Benefit from Repair Works and Assembly Services Over the Next 4 Years
Petrobras was very assertive in its choice of a company to provide services to its FPSO offshore platforms, as Ocyan specializes in this type of production. Thus, among the services to be provided by the company, the main ones are maintenance and repair of the units. More specifically, Ocyan will act in planning and executing boiler-making, welding, painting, electrical work, instrumentation, and maintenance of offshore equipment.
The offshore replicants P-66, P-67, P-68, P-69, and P-70 are currently located in the Tupi, Berbigão, and Atapu regions. And, due to their individual production capacity of 150,000 bpd and compression of 6 million m³/day of gas each, Petrobras needs to ensure more efficiency and safety in these operations. Thus, the contract with Ocyan will be essential for the proper maintenance of the FPSO platforms over the next 4 years.
Both companies celebrated the opportunity for collaboration over the 4 years expected in the contract and stated they are committed to ensuring the best partnership during this time. With this, Ocyan expands its portfolio in Brazil, while Petrobras takes new directions in offshore production.
