Ocyan Announces New Selection Process for the City of Macaé. Check Out the Updated Offshore and Onshore Job Openings Available Today, November 5th.

Ocyan has been constantly announcing job openings for Macaé and other regions. On this day, the company offers effective offshore and onshore positions for high school and higher education professionals. Check out the fresh openings announced by KEMPETRO for Macaé and Bahia.

Ocyan is proud to announce its first Brazilian woman commander, Carla Malafaia, who took over the drill ship Norbe IX in October. The company is increasingly pursuing diversity, upholding equal opportunities for all individuals, regardless of any characteristics that make them unique.

Another 11 women work on the drill ship, representing 6% of the entire team. Although the number is low, it is a good benchmark compared to the reality of the oil and gas market.

This year, Ocyan has initiated the Diversity & Inclusion program, which includes a committee responsible for the program’s strategy, as well as affinity groups. In 2019, the priority areas of action are ‘gender equity’ and ‘people with disabilities’.
