4Subsea announcement made last Thursday (03/10) shows the oil sector recovering and with good prospects for companies

The oil and gas sector is still busy, 4Subsea announced on October 03rd that it was acquired by Subsea 7 in its entirety. In a statement, the company said that 4Subsea will operate autonomously from Subsea 7, maintaining its brand and an independent management team, the values ​​of the business were not disclosed. Brasileira Tech-Insp is also expanding its business!

The objective of the business between the companies is to allow the improvement and expansion of 4Subsea's know-how, technology and services for a worldwide market. It was also reported that Peter Jenkins of 4Subsea will remain as CEO of the company.
4Subsea will support Subsea 7 in providing advanced digital solutions to its customers in Life of Field and Field Development contracts and will be a key contributor to the ongoing digital transformation of Subsea 7's business delivery.

An initial priority project will be a joint effort between Subsea 7 and the 4 Subsea in order to monitor the main operational data of Subsea 7 ships, contributing to the digitization of its maritime operations. In Brazil, the company maintains four PLSVs in operation contracted by Petrobras: Seven Cruzeiro, Seven Rio, Seven Sun and Seven Waves.
