Knowledge Ships Initiative Aims to Prepare Youth and Adults for the Growing Technology Market.
The collaboration between the Municipal Secretary of Science and Technology (SMCT) and the Knowledge Ships has brought an excellent opportunity: the opening of 3,700 spots in free courses focused on technology and entrepreneurship. With a variety of workshops, lectures, and seminars scheduled for November, the main goal is to equip participants with essential skills to enter the growing technology market.
Variety of Themes and Skills
The courses, which will be held in person, cover a wide range of essential topics. The Knowledge Ships are offering courses such as Drone Flight Practices, Excel, Basic Computing, Mobile Photography, Introduction to 3D Printing, Digital Marketing, Python Programming, Graphic Design, and Introduction to E-Sports, among others. These contents have been meticulously selected to align students with the current job market demands in the technology field.

The Knowledge Ships are not just teaching centers; they are spaces dedicated to digital inclusion and training. For those aiming to advance professionally in the technology field, the Ships have become an invaluable resource, providing courses and workshops at no cost. Spreading across various locations such as Madureira, Irajá, Engenho de Dentro, and Nova Brasília, they have established themselves as hubs of education and growth.
