Selection Process

Assistant Chief Engineer – SCFM (Category 1OM) – Offshore/Embarked

Specific requirements include NR 34 – Equipment Operator (with 20 hours of training), NR 34 – Load Handling (with 20 hours of training), and NR 35 – Working at Heights (with 8 hours of training) certifications.
Nautical Officer (Category 2ON/1ON) – Offshore/Embarked
For the Nautical Officer (2ON/1ON) position at Grupo CBO, we seek qualified professionals to operate and manage navigation and deck operations of offshore support vessels. This role, exercised in an embarked regime, requires leadership, in-depth technical knowledge in navigation, vessel maneuvering, and safety procedures. It is desirable that candidates have experience on maritime support vessels and preferably hold a valid DP Unlimited (Dynamic Positioning) certification. The valid DPC 1031 and 1034 Certificates related to the position are required. The requirements also include NR 33 – Confined Space (with 16 hours of training) and NR 35 – Working at Heights (with 8 hours of training) certifications.
Wiper – MOM – Offshore/Embarked

Experience on maritime support vessels is an important differentiator. Requirements include valid DPC 1034 Certificates related to the position and certifications NR 33 – Confined Space (with 16 hours of training) and NR 35 – Working at Heights (with 8 hours of training).
Offshore Safety Technician – Offshore/Embarked
This Offshore Safety Technician position at Grupo CBO is vital to ensure compliance with safety and health standards aboard vessels, operating in an embarked regime. The professional will be responsible for inspecting work sites, identifying risks, proposing preventive and corrective measures, conducting training, and ensuring the application of the company’s safety policies and current legislation. Requirements include a completed Technical Course in Occupational Safety with registration at MTE, good knowledge of IT (Office Package), maritime experience, and offshore embarkation experience. CBSP and HUET certifications must be valid, as well as NR 33 – Confined Space (40 hours) and NR 35 – Working at Heights.
Offshore Operations Planner – Base (possibly Rio de Janeiro or Macaé)
The Offshore Operations Planner at Grupo CBO will predominantly work at a base (city to be confirmed, usually close to offshore operation centers such as Rio de Janeiro or Macaé), responsible for detailed and safe planning of maritime operations, including load handling and anchoring operations. This professional should have a completed degree in Engineering, solid knowledge in load handling materials, and proficiency in commercial software capable of simulating anchoring operations (e.g., Orcaflex). Experience in related activities and excellent written and oral communication in English to interact with multidisciplinary teams and international clients are required.
