In 2024, the total collected exceeded R$ 1.9 billion, a value that is expected to be easily surpassed this year.
The Impact of A Billionaire Prize
If the prize reaches R$ 1 billion, it would be the largest ever recorded in the history of Brazilian lotteries. To give you an idea, the winner who invested the total amount in a savings account would earn about R$ 5.6 million per month just from interest.
Another interesting fact is that, with this amount, it would be possible to buy more than 6,000 apartments costing R$ 160 thousand, or about 20 mid-sized executive jets, such as the Embraer Phenom 300, manufactured in Brazil.

With the start of betting this Saturday, lottery experts recommend not to leave it until the last hour. In 2024, many bettors faced long lines in the last days of the year and had difficulty registering their bets.
