Offshore Barges, Crane, and Traction Machines Are Among the Items to Be Auctioned in Petrobras’s Electronic Auction Number 19,057
As part of the movement to optimize the portfolio and improve capital allocation, Petrobras announced this Thursday, 15, that it will hold an electronic auction number 19,057 on September 17, for the sale of equipment including offshore barges, crane, and traction machines. On Wednesday, 14, the executive director of Refining and Natural Gas of the state-owned company, Anelise Lara, stated that the company is considering participating in the upcoming A-6 auction of electricity generation projects.
According to Petrobras, the divestiture aims to reduce costs, as there is no prospect of using these equipment in the company’s projects. “The operation will contribute to better allocation of our capital and to building a more sustainable future, strengthening participation in segments with greater competitive advantage and higher profitability,” the state-owned company informed.
