Electric Vehicle Sales Grew by 70% in 2020
According to data published in the Global EV Outlook 2021, with the COVID-19 pandemic, the sales of electric vehicles saw a 70% increase in 2020, while conventional vehicle sales dropped. This fact demonstrates, in practice, the importance of investing in the sector.
“We believe e-mobility is expanding at a rapid pace. With this rapid growth, innovative solutions are essential to drive the movement towards e-mobility for a more sustainable future,” said the CEO of the PLI Group, Giuseppe D’Arrigo.
The Petronas Lona line, launched primarily in 2019, aims for energy decarbonization, optimizing the efficiency, safety, and performance of electric vehicles with advanced EV fluid solutions. Since then, the company has been working on developments to keep pace with technological evolution.
The subsequent generation of Petronas Lona was designed to meet the diverse demands of electric drive systems and powertrains, including friction and wear control, as well as thermal management for temperature regulation, to maximize performance, energy efficiency, and reliability of high-performance electric vehicles.
Investment in Carbon Neutrality by 2050
