It started this Wednesday (26) the Job Fair More Work Ceará – Supermarkets, a great opportunity for those seeking employment. The initiative is the result of a partnership between the Department of Labor (SET), the Institute of Labor Development (IDT), the Cearense Supermarkets Association (Acesu), and the Ceará Without Hunger Program.

Ceará has over 700 job openings available in supermarkets. This is a great chance for those looking to enter or re-enter the job market. The Job Fair More Work Ceará – Supermarkets began today and offers 752 positions in various roles.

Job Openings Available in Ceará

The job openings available at the fair include positions such as butcher, apprentice, purchasing assistant, deposit assistant, cleaning assistant, cold foods clerk, produce stocker, cashier, floor stocker, general services, guard, and loss prevention, among others.

How to Participate

To apply for one of the positions, simply go to one of the 18 IDT units in the state of Ceará. It is important to bring an updated resume, ID card, and CPF. Service is available from 8 AM to 5 PM. The openings will be available until filled.

The fair is part of Axis 3 of the Ceará Without Hunger Program, which aims to qualify and include beneficiaries of the program in the job market, helping families achieve financial autonomy. However, all workers can participate, regardless of whether they are beneficiaries of the program.

In addition to the 752 job openings focused on supermarkets, the IDT currently offers over 2,700 positions in other sectors. “Ceará workers looking for re-employment in the job market or a first job opportunity can seek out the nearest IDT unit where a team will be ready to welcome and guide them to a position that suits their profile,” said the Secretary of Labor of Ceará, Vladyson Viana.
