Selection Process
The selection process for applicants in the competition consists of several stages. All positions will undergo objective multiple-choice tests, which have eliminatory and classificatory character.
Written tests will be applied only for higher-level positions, also with eliminatory and classificatory character.
Additionally, there will be a practical test for the positions of Stretcher Carrier and Nursing Technician — Emergency Vehicle Driver — Motoambulance.
Only higher-level positions will undergo a title evaluation process.
For the positions of Municipal Civil Guard and Traffic and Transport Agent, physical capacity tests, psychological evaluation, medical examinations (including toxicology), and social conduct investigations will be conducted.
These candidates will also undergo initial training, which will be in-person and full-time.
Composition of the Competition Test
The objective test will consist of questions on Portuguese Language, Logical and Mathematical Reasoning, General Knowledge, and Specific Knowledge.
The number of questions, the weight per question, and the maximum score vary according to the education level required for the position, as shown in the attached tables.
For positions that cover elementary, middle, and technical education content:
- Portuguese Language: 10 questions (weight 2.0) — Maximum score: 20.0;
- Logical and Mathematical Reasoning: 10 questions (weight 1.0) — Maximum score: 10.0;
- General Knowledge: 10 questions (weight 1.0) — Maximum score: 10.0;
- Specific Knowledge: 20 questions (weight 3.0) — Maximum score: 60.0;
- Total: 50 questions — Maximum score: 100.0.
For higher-level positions:
- Portuguese Language: 10 questions (weight 2.0) — Maximum score: 20.0;
- Logical and Mathematical Reasoning: 10 questions (weight 2.0) — Maximum score: 20.0;
- General Knowledge: 10 questions (weight 2.0) — Maximum score: 20.0;
- Specific Knowledge: 10 questions (weight 4.0) — Maximum score: 40.0;
- Total: 40 questions — Maximum score: 100.0.
The maximum validity period of the public competition opened by the City Hall of Aparecida de Goiânia is 2 years, considering the date of homologation, which can be extended for an equal period, according to the criteria of the Municipal Administration.
