In 2023, Brazilian exports performed exceptionally, surpassing the mark of US$ 300 billion. This result positions Brazil as one of the major players in the international market, thanks to the diversification of its products and strategic actions by companies like Logcomex.

As highlighted by the CEO of the company, one of the standout items in the sales abroad is soybean, which remains a leader in the supply chain. Additionally, other segments, such as crude oils and iron ore, also contributed significantly to the success of Brazilian exports in the past year. This scenario reinforces the importance of partnerships between companies in the sector and the support of innovative initiatives to boost Brazil’s international trade.

Brazilian Exports: Soybean Leads the Ranking

Among the products that Brazil sells the most abroad, soybean is the uncontested leader of Brazilian exports. According to Helmuth Hofstatter, CEO of Logcomex, soybean plays an important role in global supply, being the world’s largest producer of this grain. Soybean has secured a prominent position in international markets, with countries such as China and Argentina absorbing the majority of exports.

Crude Oils: Second Place in Exports

In second place in the Brazilian export ranking are crude oils. According to Hofstatter, these inputs reached US$ 42.5 billion in sales abroad. Brazil stands out as a significant player in the global oil market, with China being the main destination for exports.

Iron Ore and Other Exported Products

In addition to soybean and crude oils, Brazil also exports iron ore and other products. In 2023, iron ore exports reached the mark of US$ 30.5 billion, with China as the main destination. Other leading export products include sugars, beef, chicken, and whole corn.
