Joinville, the largest city in Santa Catarina, is currently holding a selection process for temporary hiring and forming a reserve register in various areas of health, education, and technical services. In total, there are 41 different positions available, with salaries ranging from R$ 2,976.83 to R$ 13,554.80.

The selection will be made exclusively by title evaluation, which means that the academic and professional experience of the candidates will carry decisive weight.

For those seeking positions at the São José Municipal Hospital, the opportunities include on-call doctors. The salaries for shifts can reach R$ 128.83 per hour, depending on the specialty.

Who Can Participate in the Selection Process?

The announcement establishes that native or naturalized Brazilians and Portuguese citizens supported by law can compete, with a minimum age of 18 years at the time of convocation, full enjoyment of political rights, physical and mental fitness, and education compatible with the position.

It is necessary to be up to date with electoral obligations and, in the case of men, also with military service. In addition, there should be no impediments due to sanctions applied in the last five years in public service.

Candidates with disabilities have the right to up to 20% of the vacancies, provided the position is compatible.

How Will the Candidates Be Selected?

The selection process will be conducted in a single stage, consisting of a title evaluation of a classificatory nature. This means that points will be assigned based on academic background and complementary courses, valuing postgraduate degrees, master’s, and doctorate, as long as they exceed the minimum requirement for the position.

This modality favors professionals who already have solid education and experience, making the preparation more focused on organization and document verification than on studying for an objective test. In case of a tie in points, priority will be given to older candidates, and, if the equality persists, to those who registered earlier.

What is the Deadline and How to Apply?

Applications will be accepted exclusively online, at the website www.institutoaocp.org.br, during the period set in the announcement schedule. To complete the participation, it is necessary to fill out the application form, attach documents proving education and qualifications, and pay the fee of R$ 18.00 for positions requiring a high school/technical level and R$ 21.00 for higher education positions.

The final deadline for registration is August 19, 2025, and the results will be published on the same portal. The approved candidate may be summoned at any time, according to the needs of the municipality or the hospital.
