Produced In Anápolis By Caoa Chery, The Tiggo 7 Offers Advanced Technology And Comfort For Less Than R$ 140 Thousand, Earning The Title Of SUV With Best Cost-Benefit In Brazil, Although It Is Still Rarely Seen On The Streets

Produced in Anápolis (GO) by Caoa Chery, the Tiggo 7 – CAOA’s SUV was elected by specialists and automotive rankings as the SUV with the best cost-benefit in Brazil. With a price starting at R$ 139,990 for the Sport version, the model combines technology, safety, space, and above-average finishing for an accessible value within the segment.

Even with so many qualities, the vehicle is still rarely seen on the streets, a situation that raises questions about the brand’s image and consumer perception. Below, we analyze the main factors that make the Tiggo 7 a silent standout in the Brazilian market.

National Production Strengthens The Tiggo 7

The Caoa Chery factory in Anápolis is a strategic industrial hub for the production of the brand’s SUVs. The unit has received billion-dollar investments in recent years, expanding its capacity and modernizing processes.

Currently, in addition to the Tiggo 7, the models Tiggo 5X and Tiggo 8 are produced there, consolidating the complex as a reference in productive efficiency. With over 150,000 units manufactured since 2020, the plant employs thousands of people and directly contributes to the economic development of the region.

Producing the vehicle domestically allows the company to maintain a competitive price even with a packed equipment package. Additionally, it facilitates the supply of parts and technical support, an important differential in after-sales service.

Design, Space And Highlighting Equipment

The Tiggo 7 – CAOA’s SUV stands out for its robust stature and modern, yet discreet lines. Its dimensions position it above models like the Fiat Pulse and the VW Nivus, and even the Jeep Compass in internal space.

It measures 4.50 m in length, 1.84 m in width, 2.67 m in wheelbase, and offers 1,100 liters of trunk capacity with the seats folded — a practical proposal for those seeking versatility in urban or family use.

Among the equipment, the SUV offers:

  • 10.25” Multimedia Center with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
  • Digital Instrument Panel
  • Leather Seats
  • Automatic Air Conditioning
  • Stability and Traction Control
  • 360° Camera and Parking Assistant;
  • Automatic Emergency Braking;
  • Blind Spot Monitoring.

The list is worthy of premium models, reinforcing its cost-benefit.

Efficient Performance And Engine

The model is equipped with a 1.5 TCI turbo flex engine, capable of generating up to 150 horsepower and torque of 21.4 kgfm. The transmission varies according to the version: CVT in the Sport and automated dual-clutch in the TXS and T versions.

With this setup, the Tiggo 7 delivers quick responses in urban use and stability at highway speeds. Fuel consumption, according to Inmetro, is around 11 km/l on the highway with gasoline, a competitive result for a medium SUV.

Although it does not offer all-wheel drive, the overall performance meets well those seeking a balance between efficiency and power.

SUV With Best Cost-Benefit In Brazil: Why Is It Still Overlooked?

Even after winning cost-benefit comparisons on specialized sites, such as Motor1 and Autoesporte, the Tiggo 7 has yet to gain a significant footprint on Brazilian streets. Part of this can be attributed to three factors:

Brand Image Under Construction

Caoa Chery, despite having evolved in quality and market presence, still carries the stigma of being a “generic Chinese brand.” This impacts the perception of reliability and status, even in light of proven advancements in recent models.

Established Competition

Models like the Compass and the T-Cross already have a strong appeal among Brazilians. Brands like Jeep, Volkswagen, and Toyota have extensive dealership networks and aggressive advertising campaigns, which directly influence the purchasing decision.

Stock And Delivery

Another factor that may limit its popularity is the waiting time. Domestic production still does not meet all demand, and there are reports of delivery times reaching 90 days for some versions — which discourages more immediate consumers.

Technical Specifications: Tiggo 7 Sport

Below are the main data for the most popular version of the model, which combines solid performance with robust standard equipment.

This version represents the best balance of cost, performance, and equipment in the Tiggo 7 line.

What Do Experts Say?

Several automotive sector portals recognize the model as one of the most complete in its category. The website Motor1 highlighted that in August 2024, the Tiggo 7, CAOA’s SUV, reached a new sales record in Brazil, with 4,016 units registered, according to Fenabrave data.

Fenabrave confirms that the sales numbers for Caoa Chery are on the rise, primarily driven by the success of the Tiggo 7 Sport.

An SUV From CAOA That Deserves More Attention

The Tiggo 7 – the SUV with the best cost-benefit in Brazil is a model that balances quality, performance, and price intelligently. Produced in Brazil, with a good level of equipment and embedded technology, the CAOA SUV appears as one of the best options in the segment for those seeking savings without sacrificing comfort and safety.

Its low presence on the streets, so far, does not reflect its real capability. With increasing sales, evolution in brand image, and more advertising campaigns, the trend is for the model to gain the attention it deserves. For those looking for a complete, modern, and affordable SUV, the Tiggo 7 proves to be a choice worth considering in any serious comparison.

DESCASO TOTAL! Compro com PCD . REVOLTANTE A FALTA DE RESPEITO COM O CONSUMIDOR!
