Prosafe Participated In An Online Auction For The Provision Of Safety And Maintenance Support Vessels For Brazil And, Upon Completing The Auction, Achieved First Place In The Commercial Ranking

The auction concluded on January 23, 2019, was related to a public opportunity for two lots, with each resulting contract being three years in duration. With Prosafe ranked first in both lots, Petrobras will indicate the lot to which the Safe Eurus will be assigned. Now, a compliance assessment process follows before the contract is formally awarded.

After finalizing the contract award procedures in advance, Prosafe will provide the Safe Eurus within up to 150 calendar days, giving operational ignition and tightening activities with its counterpart, the Safe Notos, which is already operating in Brazilian territory.

The commercial flexibility provided to Prosafe through very attractive delivery times and financing with COSCO Shipping (Qidong) Offshore Co. Ltd. created a significant competitive advantage in the process.

We publish here the list of all the participants in this auction and details of where these units will operate, understand better by accessing the article here.. Stay tuned because there may eventually be openings to complete the crew of these units, just remains to know what the contact method will be.
