The courses are completely free, with no charges for tuition or registration fees for the selection process.

However, there is a one-time registration fee of R$ 50 for approved candidates, though there is the possibility to request an exemption from this amount if the participant meets the criteria set by UFSCar.

Prerequisites and Priority Criteria for Registration

To participate, the candidate must hold a degree recognized by MEC. Additionally, some professional categories have priority in the selection process, which are:

    • Priority 1: Basic education teachers, who have preference for spots in the courses.
    • Priority 2: Managers and other education professionals.
    • Priority 3: Professionals in the early childhood field, including those working in health, special education, social assistance, and rehabilitation, as described in early intervention programs and specialized educational service (AEE).

    Required Documents for Registration

According to UFSCar’s guidelines, the required documents include:

    • Identification Document: RG, CPF, or CIN, or a valid driver’s license (CNH).
    • Degree Certificate: The course must be recognized by MEC.
    • Proof of Employment: Up-to-date, only for candidates competing for spots reserved for basic education teachers.

Format of Classes and On-Site Support Locations

The specializations are 100% online, offering flexibility and accessibility for participants.

Although the spots are distributed among locations in several cities, no in-person attendance will be required.

Students will be able to take the courses remotely, accessing the content from any location.

    Certification and Recognition by MEC

The courses are recognized by MEC, which gives credibility and weight to the certificates.

This is especially relevant for professionals looking to add value to their resumes and expand their opportunities in areas related to education and child development.

Support for Education and Social Impact

With these courses, UFSCar aims to contribute to the qualification of professionals who directly impact the future of children and youth.

These investments in training reflect the importance of strengthening pedagogical practices and educational leadership, both in public schools and in child support institutions.
