The Virtual University of the State of São Paulo (UNIVESP), linked to the Secretary of Science, Technology, and Innovation (SCTI), announced the opening of 22,935 free spots for undergraduate courses in the Distance Education (EAD) modality.

The selection process begins on February 6, 2025, at 10 AM, and continues until April 7, 2025, at 11:59 PM.

The spots are distributed across 432 physical poles, covering 373 municipalities in the state of São Paulo, including areas of the capital, countryside, and coast.

Free Undergraduate Courses at UNIVESP

UNIVESP offers nine options for higher education courses organized into three main academic axes:

Teaching Axis

Languages;

Mathematics;

Pedagogy;

Computing Axis

Data Science

Computer Engineering

Information Technology

Business and Production Axis

Business Administration

Production Engineering

Management Processes Technology

All courses are conducted through the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA), a platform that allows students to access exclusive content, video lessons, study materials, and academic activities.

Although they are completely online, the courses offer in-person support at the poles, where students can use computer labs, internet, and academic support.

UNIVESP 2025 Entrance Exam Calendar

Application Start Date: 02/06/2025, at 10 AM;

Application End Date: 04/07/2025, at 11:59 PM;

Announcement of Exam Locations: 05/09/2025, starting at 10 AM;

Exam Date (Objective + Essay): 05/18/2025, at 1 PM;

Classes Start: End of July 2025.

Candidates must prepare for a rigorous selection process, which includes objective tests and essay.

For those who participated in the ENEM in 2022, 2023, or 2024, there is a possibility to add points to the assessment.

Application Fee and Waiver

The application fee is R$ 47.50, but candidates who meet certain requirements can request full exemption or discount:

Full Exemption: Available for candidates registered in CadÚnico (Single Registry for Federal Government Social Programs).
50% Reduction: For students who qualify under State Law No. 12.782/2007.

Applications must be made exclusively on the official website: vestibular.univesp.br

Who Can Participate?

To compete for one of the spots, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Have completed or be completing High School by the time of registration.

Provide the registration number of the ENEM 2022, 2023, or 2024, if they wish to earn extra points in the selection.

Self-declare as Black, Brown, or Indigenous (PPI) or be a former student of a public school to receive additional points.
