Free Postgraduate Program from IFMG Offers 80 Slots in Four Management Areas, Fully Online and with a Certificate Recognized by MEC. Applications End Today and the Course Start is Scheduled for the First Semester of 2026.
The Federal Institute of Minas Gerais (IFMG) closes applications for the Lato Sensu Postgraduate Program in Management, a free, fully distance learning course recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC) at 11:59 PM this Saturday, October 18, 2025.
The process is governed by the Public Notice No. 972/2025 and offers 80 slots distributed across four areas of specialization, with a start date scheduled for the first semester of 2026.
Free Course and 100% Online
The specialization will be conducted through the Moodle platform and has no tuition fees.

Four Areas of Specialization in Management
The slots are divided into four emphases, with 20 opportunities in each: Entrepreneurship and Business, Digital Marketing, People Management, and Technology and Innovation.
Each track includes specific content.
In the field of Entrepreneurship, the focus is on the development of sustainable businesses and market strategies.
In Digital Marketing, students learn about strategic communication and managing online presence.
The specialization in People Management addresses leadership, organizational culture, and human development, while Technology and Innovation deals with agile methodologies and digital transformation.
Reserved Slots and Inclusion Criteria
The public notice provides for reservation of slots for different candidate profiles.
In each emphasis, there are 15 slots for general competition, 4 reserved for black and indigenous candidates, and 1 for people with disabilities.
The proof of conditions must be made during the document analysis phase, valid only for those opting for the quotas.
IFMG emphasizes that the reserve of slots follows national affirmative action policies in federal educational institutions.

Professionals from any field can apply, as long as they hold a degree recognized by MEC.

How the Selection Will Work
The selection will consist of two stages.
The first is an online objective test with 25 multiple choice questions, which will take place on November 7, 2025, from 7 PM to 9 PM.
The candidate needs to score a minimum of 60 points to be approved.
In the second stage, document verification will only be done for those applying for reserved slots.
All deadlines and results will be officially published on the IFMG website, according to the public notice schedule.
Training and Certification
The course aims to develop skills applicable to management in various organizational contexts.

Graduates will receive a specialization certificate issued by IFMG, with national validity and recognition by MEC.

It is necessary to fill in all the required fields, attach the required documents, and pay the registration fee of R$ 60.00 within the deadline. The receipt must be kept until the approval of the application.
After the closing, the candidate can follow the schedule, the objective test on November 7, and the other stages of the selection process directly on the institution’s portal.
