The classes will not only introduce students to the fundamentals of Libras but also include practical exercises that allow for direct application of what has been learned in everyday scenarios.
Importance of Learning Libras
Learning Libras is a crucial step for social inclusion. In Brazil, Libras is recognized as the second official language, highlighting its relevance in various fields such as education, health, and public services.
Professionals who master Libras have the advantage of being able to communicate effectively with the deaf community, a skill increasingly valued in the job market.
Moreover, learning Libras promotes greater cultural and social understanding, encouraging richer and more diverse interactions among different social groups.
Enrollments and Registrations
Registrations will take place from February 3 to 6, starting at 8 a.m., directly at the CAS headquarters. To enroll, it is necessary to present originals and copies of RG and CPF.
The minimum age requirement is 15 years. For minors, it is essential that the enrollment be made by parents or legal guardians.
There is also the possibility of enrolling by proxy, which must be handwritten and accompanied by signatures as per the official documents.
Services and Other CAS Offers
Celebrating 19 years of commitment to inclusive education, the CAS Professor Joelina Cerqueira offers not only Basic I and II Libras courses but also specialized training for teachers from various education networks.
The CAS is a center dedicated to providing learning resources and support for the deaf community, promoting inclusion through quality educational programs.
Social and Community Impact
The initiative of the Alagoas government to offer free Libras courses reflects a clear commitment to inclusive education and the promotion of citizenship.
This effort not only empowers individuals but also strengthens social cohesion by integrating the deaf community more effectively into society.
Participating in this course is not just an opportunity for learning but also an invitation to actively contribute to a more equitable and accessible society.
Enrolling in this free Libras course is a chance to be part of a positive social transformation while acquiring valuable skills that can enrich both your personal and professional life.
