The UERN (State University of Rio Grande do Norte) has just opened registrations for a free online language course aimed at students, teachers, and staff of the institution and partner universities.
There are more than 5,000 spots distributed across seven languages — including English, Spanish, French, and Japanese — offered until September 1st, in partnership with the Languages Without Borders Network (IsF).
The classes are completely online, with groups of up to 25 participants, reflecting the university’s commitment to the internationalization of public education.

Strategic Partnership Strengthens Internationalization
The initiative is made possible through an agreement with the Languages Without Borders Network (IsF), resulting from a joint action of ABRUEM (Brazilian Association of Rectors of State and Municipal Universities) and ANDIFES (National Association of Federal Higher Education Institutions Leaders).
This cooperation represents an important step in the internationalization of Brazilian public higher education, as stated by the rector of UERN and president of ABRUEM, Cicília Maia: “the adherence strengthens the internationalization of public higher education.”
