Federal University Opens Registrations for 1,459 Slots in Free Courses, Expanding Access to Quality Education in Mato Grosso do Sul.
Since Monday (07/15), the Federal University of Grande Dourados (UFGD), located in Mato Grosso do Sul, has opened registrations for 1,459 slots in free courses at the undergraduate level. This initiative aims to expand access to quality higher education in the region, offering options both in-person and online.
What Are the Free Courses Offered by the Federal University?
Interested individuals can choose from 33 in-person courses and five courses in distance learning (EaD), totaling 38 academic options, with various slots distributed among them.
Among the in-person courses available at the Federal University are: Administration, Agronomy, Law, Civil Engineering, Medicine, Pedagogy, Psychology, and many others, covering various areas of knowledge.

The free EaD courses offered are Bachelor’s in Letras-Libras, Bachelor’s in Letras Libras with a focus on translator/interpreter in Libras, Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences, Bachelor’s in Physical Education, and Technology in Human Resources Management.
Selection Process and Registrations
Registrations, made through the Federal University’s portal, for the entrance exam will be open until September 13, with the objective and essay tests scheduled for October 20.

The evaluations will be conducted in various cities in Mato Grosso do Sul, including Campo Grande, Dourados, Naviraí, Nova Andradina, and Três Lagoas, facilitating access for candidates from different regions of the state.
To participate in the selection process, a registration fee of R$ 120.00 must be paid, which should be settled by September 16.
However, candidates who meet specific criteria, such as a family income per capita equal to or less than one and a half minimum wages, indigenous people, quilombolas, persons with disabilities, transsexuals, transgender persons, transvestites, or non-binary individuals, may request an exemption from this fee until August 25.
