What You Need to Know About the Fatec Entrance Exam
Fatec offers free higher education technology courses, lasting three years, aligned with market demands.
To compete for one of the openings, candidates must have completed or be currently enrolled in high school, provided they prove completion at the time of enrollment.
At the time of application, participants can choose a first course option and, if desired, indicate a second option at any Fatec, regardless of location or schedule.
The application fee is R$60, and payment can be made until December 20, at 4 PM.
For the first semester of 2025, Fatecs are offering 20,060 vacancies, with 15,103 reserved for the entrance exam and the remainder for the Provão Paulista. The opportunities are distributed across units in all regions of the state of São Paulo, including new offerings for the coming year.
New Offerings in Fatec Courses for 2025
In 2025, Fatec will begin operations in two new units, in addition to expanding its course offerings to other locations. Check out the new options:

- Big Data for Industry (40 openings – evening), at Fatec São Carlos.
- Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (40 openings – morning), at Fatec São Paulo.
- Graphic Design (40 openings – afternoon), at Fatec Sumaré.
- Intelligent Systems (40 openings – evening), at Fatec Pompeia, updating Big Data in Agribusiness.
Thus, some Fatecs will offer existing courses in other units, such as:
- Systems Analysis and Development : Fatec Itatiba (40 openings).
- Data Science for Business : Fatec Sebrae (35 openings – afternoon).
- Aeronautics Maintenance : Fatec Sorocaba (40 openings – morning).
- Industrial Mechatronics : Fatec Garça (40 openings – morning).
- Business Management and Innovation : Fatec Lins (40 openings – morning).
How Does the Selection Process Work?
The selection process for Fatec consists of a test that will be administered on January 12, 2025. The exam evaluates high school knowledge and includes multiple-choice questions. Classification is based on candidates’ performance, taking into account the points obtained in the test.
Applicants must complete the registration form, the socioeconomic questionnaire, and pay the fee on the official entrance exam website.
