The State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG) has opened a selection process for the position of Face-to-Face Tutor in Specialized Educational Assistance (AEE) aimed at individuals with visual impairments.
The role will be at the Céu Azul Face-to-Face Support Center, within the Specialization Course in Literacy and Literacy EaD, carried out in partnership with the Open University of Brazil (UAB) system.
The scholarship amount is R$ 1,100 per month, paid by CAPES.

What the Tutor Does in the Course
The selected tutor will mediate pedagogical interactions with students who have visual impairments.
Tasks include supporting the accessibility of content, guiding activities on Moodle and in-person, collaborating on material adaptation, and participating in meetings with teachers and course coordination.
The work will be conducted in a 20-hour weekly workload.
Requirements to Participate
To apply, candidates must have a degree in Pedagogy or any teaching degree, as well as proof of training in tutoring or training for Moodle.
The position requires availability to attend in-person activities and participate in training sessions.
The announcement also prohibits the accumulation of scholarships from CAPES or CNPq, except as provided for graduate students in stricto sensu programs.
Scholarship Value and Duration of the Link
The selected professional will receive a Capes scholarship of R$ 1,100, according to Ordinance No. 309/2024.
The link accompanies the execution of the Specialization course, which may be terminated in the event of unsatisfactory performance or violation of the rules.
How the Selection Works
The process consists of documentary analysis in a single stage.
The committee will evaluate qualifications, specific training, and experience in the field, according to scoring criteria established in the announcement.
In case of a tie, factors such as experience length and candidate age will prevail.
Disclosure of the Final Result
After the analysis stage, the final result will be published on the NUTEAD portal, expected after October 7, 2025.
The schedule includes a period for filing appeals and publication of the final version after the committee’s evaluation.
Subsequent calls will also be made according to the needs of the course.
Commitments of the Approved Tutor
The approved tutor will sign a Scholarship Holder Commitment Term/CAPES, declaring that they do not hold scholarships of the same nature and that they will fulfill the assigned duties.
The role may require travel and participation in activities at the centers, including on weekends, as defined by the coordination.
Importance of Specialized Assistance
The work of a specialized AEE tutor is strategic to ensure that students with visual impairments have equal access to content and can complete their academic activities under appropriate conditions.
This role contributes to strengthening inclusion and the retention of these students in higher education.
