Why Work at ENEM
Working at ENEM is essential to ensure democratic access to higher education in Brazil. This exam not only assesses the learning of high school students but also serves as a selection criterion for public and private universities.
ENEM was created in 1998 by the Ministry of Education of Brazil, initially to assess the quality of high school education in the country. Over time, the exam gained more importance, being used as a selection criterion for admission to higher education institutions through systems such as SISEDUC and SISU.
In 2009, ENEM underwent a reformulation, including the application of tests with objective questions and an essay. Since then, it has become one of the main ways of accessing higher education in Brazil, in addition to being used for granting scholarships and student financing, helping to democratize access to education.
