The Andifes Network – IsF has begun the enrollment phase for its free online courses in English and Portuguese with certifications. The activities are part of the partnership between the association and the Languages Without Borders Program of the Federal University of Uberlândia. To secure spots in the distance learning courses, candidates must register by November 19 or until the 25 spots offered are filled through the registration link shared on IsF’s pages on Instagram and Facebook.

Free Online English And Portuguese Courses With Certifications

The free distance learning courses in English include two workshops, Reading Strategies, aimed at the basic level, and Conversation, aimed at the intermediate level. While the first workshop will occur synchronously on Tuesdays from 1 PM to 2:30 PM, the second will be held on Fridays from 3:30 PM to 5 PM.

The free online courses in Portuguese for Foreigners include classes on Reading and Written Production: Brazilian Portuguese Grammar (levels 1 and 2) and also a cultural journey through Brazil via various textual genres.

The first distance learning course will be conducted synchronously on Fridays from 10 AM to 11:30 AM and the second from 3 PM to 4:30 PM. It is important to note that all EAD classes for both free online courses with certifications will occur via Google Meet, while asynchronous classes will take place through the Google Classroom platform.

Interested in one of the free distance learning courses? Then know that signing up is very simple; just visit the Andifes IsF website and select the desired course. After that, you will need to fill out a form with Full Name, CPF, Passport (for foreigners), Nationality, Phone, Email, Relationship with the UF, among others.

It is worth noting that the EAD classes for the free online courses with certifications take place from the 22nd of this month until December 17th, in both synchronous and asynchronous modes. These opportunities are aimed at the entire academic community with the mission of expanding free access to foreign language learning. The courses have a workload of 10 hours, distributed over 2.5 hours of classes per week.

Get To Know The Andifes-IsF Network

The Andifes-IsF Network’s mission, along with the IFES linked to Andifes that join the Network through an invitation letter or specific call, is to promote the initial and continued training of language teachers to work in internationalization processes.

The institution seeks to develop linguistic proficiency among students, faculty, and administrative staff of accredited IFES. The Andifes-IsF Network will also operate in accordance with the internationalization policies of accredited IFES and the governmental policies to which the IFES are linked.

The network allows specialists from various higher education institutions, both national and international, to become accredited through specific calls to collaborate in raising the level of foreign language proficiency in IFES.
