Wind Farm Proposal in Conwy, Bordering Denbighshire, Could Generate Up to 60 MW, with Battery Storage and Community Benefits.

The public consultation on RWE’s Alwen Forest Wind Farm is already underway, giving the local population the opportunity to provide their opinions on the project. With up to nine wind turbines of up to 200 meters in height, the farm will have the capacity to generate 60 MW. In addition, the project includes plans for battery storage and a habitat management plan, as well as a grid connection work between Alwen and Clocaenog. RWE is seeking feedback from the population to ensure that the project meets local needs and minimizes environmental impact.
