A Ribeirão das Neves City Hall, located in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte, in Minas Gerais, announced a new public competition that aims to fill 663 vacancies in the health area, in addition to forming a reserve register.
Organized by Brazilian Institute of Management and Research (IBGP), the competition offers opportunities for candidates at elementary, middle/technical and higher education levels, with salaries ranging from R$1.700,00 to R$7.045,04.
Vacancies available by education level in Minas Gerais
The competition features a variety of positions, catering to different levels of education. Check out the main opportunities below:

Elementary level
- Incomplete: Ambulance Driver (CNH D or E required)) – Starting salary of R$ 1.912,00.
- Full: Oral Health Assistant – 2 vacancies with remuneration of R$1.700,00.
Medium/technical level
- Nursing Technician: 312 vacancies.
- Laboratory Technician: 2 vacancies.
- Pathology Technician: 1 vacancy.

All technical positions have a starting salary of R$1.912,00, and Nursing professionals receive the minimum wage established for the category.

Salaries for higher level positions range from R$2.641,89 to R$7.045,04, with working hours between 12 and 30 hours per week.
Reservation for people with disabilities (PcD) in Minas Gerais
In accordance with the legislation, the competition reserves 5% of vacancies for People with Disabilities (PwD). Candidates interested in this modality must inform their condition at the time of registration and meet the requirements for compatibility between the disability and the activities of the position.
Registration and Fees
Registration for the competition can be done exclusively online, at IBGP website, between January 6th and February 5th, 2025. Registration fees vary according to the level of education:
- Elementary level: $ 50,00
- Medium/technical level: $ 80,00
- Level s: $ 120,00
Candidates who meet socioeconomic criteria, such as those registered with CadÚnico, may request exemption from the registration fee between January 6 and 8. It will be necessary to submit supporting documents to validate the exemption.
Selection process steps
The competition will be divided into stages to assess the candidates' knowledge:
- objective test: Applicable to all positions, the test is eliminatory and classificatory in nature.
- Title Test: Exclusive for senior positions, where aspects such as candidates' training and experience will be considered.
The objective test will be held on March 16, 2025, in different shifts for each group of positions. This division aims to facilitate organization and minimize the possibility of crowds.

Validity of the contest
The competition will be valid for two years and may be extended for a further two years, as decided by the public administration.
