Salary of R$ 9.000,00 – taxes (the worst of which is the military pension that you are not entitled to but is discounted anyway) = 7.490,00. Good luck to the warriors who try this contest. :/

This is on purpose, there is no longer any interest in a military career, and this only weakens the institution.

A huge number of military personnel are leaving the force due to these adjustments in military life and also due to the lack of financial compensation for military responsibility and demands. In view of this, the government is giving up on the competition that involves financial stability and making this game more “beneficial” for the country’s economy and offering a selection process. A huge shame for this country, this government. Military life is not worth it these days, because of the knowledge acquired and little valued.
