Young people from Mogi das Cruzes can register until June 20 for remaining positions in the free course of Electricity and Stage Lighting – Bright Future Hub.
The training is intended for residents aged 18 to 24 and is supported by the Social Fund of Mogi, in addition to sponsorship from the company Niterra do Brasil.
Training for the Cultural Sector
The course is aimed at the professional qualification of young people who want to work in events, theaters, and cultural spaces. The training includes practical and theoretical classes in a laboratory equipped with a focus on basic electricity and stage lighting.

All teaching materials are provided free of charge, and the space has been adapted to offer a complete and safe experience.
The content covers everything from concepts of electricity and technical standards to stage lighting and the assembly of final projects.

Initiative Seeks Inclusion and Income Generation
The president of the Social Fund of Mogi, Maira Cusatis, emphasized the importance of free courses as a tool for social transformation. “One of our main missions is to work to promote social well-being in the city, and free vocational courses are essential instruments for the qualification of the labor force and the generation of employment and income,” she stated.
The course is conducted by the São Paulo Institute of Art and Culture in partnership with the Ministry of Culture through the Federal Law for Cultural Incentive. Classes take place at Rua Dom Antônio Cândido de Alvarenga, 108, in downtown Mogi. At the end, students receive certification valid in the market.
