SEDUC-MT Opens 1,500 Positions for Teachers with Salaries of Up to R$ 17 Thousand: See How to Participate

The Secretary of Education of Mato Grosso (SEDUC-MT) launches a new public competition with 1,500 immediate positions for teachers in the state network. Exams will take place in June and salaries may exceed R$ 17 thousand. The Secretary of State for Education of Mato Grosso (SEDUC-MT) announced on April 11 the opening of the public competition announcement 2025 with 1,500 immediate positions for Basic Education teachers. The selection also provides for the formation of a reserve list and represents an excellent opportunity for those seeking stability, a public career, and competitive remuneration in the education sector.

Applications and Exemption from the Participation Fee

Applications for the SEDUC-MT competition must be made exclusively through the official FGV website, the organizer of the event. The deadline runs from April 10 to May 8, 2025, and the application fee is R$ 150.

Some candidates may request exemption from the fee, such as:

Unemployed individuals
Regular blood donors
Summoned by the Electoral Justice

The exemption must be requested at the time of registration and verified according to the criteria established in the announcement.

Exams and Stages of the Public Competition

The selection will consist of several stages, all of which are eliminatory and/or classificatory, ensuring broad competition and transparency in the process. Check the stages:

Objective Exam – eliminatory and classificatory
Discursive Exam – eliminatory and classificatory
Practical Exam – eliminatory and classificatory (for some areas)
Evaluation of Titles – classificatory
Medical Examination
Heteroidentification – validation of racial quotas

The objective and discursive exams are scheduled for June 22, 2025, in 48 municipalities in Mato Grosso, according to the choice made at the time of registration.

Quotas and Inclusion in the SEDUC-MT Competition

The announcement provides for reserve quotas to ensure inclusion and diversity in public service:

10% of the vacancies are reserved for people with disabilities (PcD)
20% for candidates self-declared as black

These measures comply with federal and state legislation and seek to promote greater representativeness in the State Education Network of Mato Grosso.
