SEDUC-MT competition opens 1.500 vacancies for teachers with salaries of up to R$17: see how to participate
The Mato Grosso State Department of Education (SEDUC-MT) is launching a new public competition with 1.500 immediate vacancies for state school teachers. The exams will take place in June and salaries may exceed R$17. Mato Grosso State Department of Education (SEDUC-MT) announced, on April 11, the opening of public tender notice 2025 com 1.500 immediate vacancies for Basic Education teachers. Selected candidates will be hired under the statutory regime with 20 or 40 hour workweeks. The starting salaries range from R$3.671,84 (20h) to R$7.005,09 (40h), which can reach R$ 17.078,40 at the end of the career, according to the SEDUC-MT job and salary plan.
Registration and exemption from participation fee
Registration for the SEDUC-MT competition must be done exclusively from the official FGV website, organizer of the competition. The deadline is from April 10 to May 8, 2025, and the registration fee is R$150.
Some candidates may request fee exemption, As:
- Unemployed
- Regular blood donors
- Summoned by the Electoral Court
Exemption must be requested at the time of registration and proven in accordance with the criteria established in the notice.
Tests and stages of the public competition
The selection will have several phases, all of a eliminatory and/or qualifying, ensuring broad competition and fairness in the process. Check out the steps:

Quotas and inclusion in the SEDUC-MT competition
The notice provides for reservation of places to ensure inclusion and diversity in the public service:
- 10% of the vacancies are intended for people with disabilities (PwD)
- 20% for candidates self-declared black
